When I first chose to study in the health field, I could not have imagined how profoundly this path would shape me—not in terms of distance travelled, but in the depth of listening, communication, and relationship it would require. Over time, I came to understand that technical knowledge alone is never enough. Without presence, sensitivity, and the ability to truly meet another human being, a degree remains only a title and a profession merely a job.
My work has always been guided by curiosity, respect for the body’s intelligence, and a deep belief in continuous learning. I see my professional journey as an evolving process, one that continues to unfold and reveal new layers of understanding.
I graduated as a Rehabilitation Therapist from Azienda Tutela Salute in Cagliari, Sardinia (Italy) in 1996, and I remain a registered physical therapist with the Federazione Nazionale Ordini in Italy. Over the years, I have worked extensively in private clinical settings, specializing in manual therapy, massage therapy, orthopedics, post-surgical rehabilitation, and neuromotor rehabilitation.
In 2005, my interest expanded toward neurodiversity and developmental conditions, particularly autism and related disorders. I pursued further education through courses and workshops led by internationally respected professionals such as Erin Brooker Lozott, Michela Figini Myers, Francesca Degli Espinosa, and Marco De Caris. These experiences profoundly influenced the way I approach care—placing relationship, regulation, and individuality at the center of any therapeutic process.
After moving to Canada in 2013, I continued my work as a certified STAMINA® Rehabilitation Therapist, practicing muscle alignment and postural integration. During the following years, through intensive hands-on practice and exposure to different therapeutic modalities, my work naturally evolved toward more subtle, integrative, and client-centered approaches. This evolution also laid the foundation for mentoring and supporting other health practitioners.
In 2018, I became a professional member of the Natural Health Practitioners of Canada and the Association des Naturothérapeutes du Québec. At the same time, my interest in energy-based and holistic medicine deepened significantly. Becoming a certified Reiki Master through Mount Royal University marked a turning point in my professional life. In Reiki, I found the missing element that brought coherence to my years of clinical experience: a practice rooted in presence, energetic balance, and respect for the body’s innate capacity for healing.
Today, Reiki is the core of my work. My background in physiotherapy informs my understanding of the body, but Reiki guides my listening, my touch, and the way I hold space for each individual. My sessions are grounded, gentle, and responsive—supporting nervous system regulation, emotional balance, and reconnection with one’s inner resources.
I currently live in Calgary with my husband and children. Outside of my practice, I value simple and nourishing moments: spending time with family and friends, traveling, drawing, reading, listening to music, and watching films.
